Light
“Light” is an illustration of how lighting can change the mood and perception of artwork. Both angles were photographs of me with the same expression, but with varying angles of light source.

Bluered
"Bluered" is a personification of the many personalities/attitudes within a person. Although there is a spectrum of personalities, I have chosen the two categories in which our society has generalized all of them into; Good v. Bad.

Electric Blue
"Electric Blue" is the representation of how a 'civilized' and 'cultured' nation can invested in the development of weapons that may annihilate the very beauty and prosperity its passions have helped to create. An atomic bomb is in the reflection of a woman's eye, while the 'electric blue' splatter on her face is symbolic of the knowledge being destroyed.

Drip
“Drip” began as a watercolor splatter effect painting. After many washes and treatments, the background of the piece was produced. As lover of classic cars and vibrant paint jobs, the color placement from the splatter treatment gave inspiration to place a ‘69 Mustang in the center. To add depth, I carefully placed street lamps and shrubbery on the far side.

Me, Myself, & I
"Me, Myself, & I" is a self-portrait collage. All aspects of the piece signify certain perspectives of how I perceive myself.
